Projects

We are often asked if we have any “projects” as missionaries. What this means is that there are those who wish to do something, in addition to the regular monthly support, which will help to advance the message of the Love and Light of Christ in Japan!

If you are not familiar with the “Projects” concept, it works like this:

As missionaries, we are grateful for, and dependent upon, the monthly support of our partners who allow us to do the ministry we are called to do.

However, there are times when those who also want to a special “PROJECT” can do so as something that gives a rapid boost to the missions work we are doing. So, here is the project we have going on right now:

AGWM Project 5781 (Class 60) – Yokota Church Improvements and Land Purchase For An Effective Hub of Ministry – Tokyo, Japan

Our vision, and that of our leadership at AGWM, is to see Yokota Church as a “Hub of Ministry” in this region of Tokyo. We are not content to simply grow as a body of believers, but desire to influence a nation where 99.7% do not know Christ. Hosting of ministry at this site not only includes the worship services, but training and facilitation of ministry training as well. However, the building is older and in need of some significant improvements. This project is to improve the physical facilities of Yokota Church so that we can more effectively host teams, short-term missionaries, and ministry training opportunities. Your assistance in providing these needed repairs to the parking lot, floors, exterior, and other areas will assist us greatly in providing a quality environment for ministry.

*** We also would like to acquire a piece of property right next door.  Why?  Well, our parking lot is maxed!!!  We have no more room in the parking lot, but still have available seating in the sanctuary.  The ability to purchase a piece of property would double our current parking capabilities!

Because this is an AGWM project, giving can be done by giving to our (Dan Lumadue) AGWM account with a notation in your giving that it is for “Project 5781” in the comments, or selecting (60) in the dropdown menu on our AGWM Giving page. Please follow the link below to go to our giving page, and thank you for all you do to enhance the work of the ministry in Japan for this generation and generations to come!
